With three cameras in tow, Matthew and I drove cross country last September. These images are a few that I took with my little crappy twin reflex camera. Honestly, I didn't even think any would actually come out. Most of these images have been sitting in my closet, but a few are newly discovered.

Japanese Mint Eggling, By Jun Inui
I bought this little guy last October at the Museum of Contemporary of Art, Chicago. I started growing the eggling last winter. Sadly it didn't make it with me to Austin, but I had more seeds and replanted. It grew into a giant amount of baby mint which was then transplanted into our little garden out back. Oh, the wonders of Japanese design.

Matt and I go where ever we can to get a bit of relief from this oppressive heat. The river felt like a luke warm bath tub. I'm still getting used to the Texas Heat.
